Blood Trail Seminar Feb. 24th

Open to all breeds!

Schedule:
Class will start at 10:30 am (Please arrive at least 15 min. early.)

Lunch 12:00 pm – 12:45 pm (Speaker will only take 20 min. break.)

Break at 12:45 pm – 1:05 pm to gather dogs and get back in groups.

1:05 pm – 5:00 pm Second 1/2 of class.

There will only be 20 handlers with dog entries open for this class. This allows 5 handlers with dogs per trail group, with 4 trail guides to instruct and assist. Each dog will be worked at the level it is at! We do not just use deer hides. Trails will have full body animals at the end of each trail.

Cost:

Handler with dog entry: $75

Handler without dog entry: $40

Dutch oven cooked lunch: $5 a plate. (Tea included)

Bottled Water, Coke, Dr. Pepper, Root Beer, & Sprite: $.50
(Can bring your own cooler with drinks.)

Lodge (bunk style) available, if needed: $25 a bed per night.

Overnight guest meals: $5 a plate

Hunters package available! Hunters will arrive February 22nd evening and hunt February 23th. If you are interested, call for more details and information.

What to bring:

· Dog current on all their shots.
· Bell or special collar or harness used if already working the dog on trails. If you don’t have one already, might want to bring one to start with.
· Lead (Longer is better.)
· Water and food bowls.
· Your own personal out door care. (Example: bug spray, sunscreen, hat, jacket, ect..)
· For night stays: Sleeping bag or own blanket and pillow for extra comfort, and portable dog kennel. Plus anything else you normally take on a stay away from home.

Directions:
Turn off of IH 10 onto HWY 41 headed towards Mountain Home, TX.  You will go through Mountain Home staying on HWY 41.  You will travel about 20 more miles down HWY 41 until you hit the intersection of HWY 41 and HWY 83.  There is a Gavens Store at the corner and yellow flashing lights.Go through the intersection, staying on HWY 41.  You will go another 5 miles from the intersection and the ranch gate will be marked on the left hand side of the road.  Go through gate and pass three ranch houses.  The fourth lodge structure with all the trucks will be where you park.
